🕒 1. Present Indefinite Tense (Simple Present)

Formula: Subject + 1st form of verb (+ s/es with He, She, It) + Object

Example:

• I play cricket.

• He plays football.

Urdu:

• میں کرکٹ کھیلتا ہوں۔

• وہ فٹ بال کھیلتا ہے۔

Use (English):
Used to express habitual actions, daily routines, or universal truths.
استعمال:
یہ زمانہ اس وقت استعمال ہوتا ہے جب کوئی کام عادتاً، معمول کے مطابق یا ایک حقیقت کے طور پر ہو۔

Formula: Subject + am/is/are + Verb (ing) + Object

Example:

• I am reading a book.

• She is cooking food.

Urdu:

• میں کتاب پڑھ رہا ہوں۔

• وہ کھانا پکا رہی ہے۔

Use (English):
Used for an action happening now or around this moment.
استعمال:
یہ زمانہ اس وقت استعمال ہوتا ہے جب کوئی کام بولتے وقت جاری ہو۔

Used for an action just completed or when the result of the action is important now.
